A while ago, Maren introduced me to one of my new favorite blogs: ikea hacker. It’s basically about taking an item bought from ikea and disregarding the instructions completely, using one’s own creativity instead. I love it, I’ve gotten so many great ideas for my future house/apartment from it – my personal favorite is the desk turned dog bed :)
Anyway, I had a few spare hours to myself last week and headed out to ikea to snoop around. In addition to buying a tea set, clothes hangers, a picture frame and a little shelf that I still have no idea where to put, I got a toothbrush holder. Yes, a toothbrush holder! However, I never intended to use it for storing toothbrushes.
I repeat – there will be no storing of toothbrushes!

1. Buy one “Lillholmen” toothbrush holder.
2. Nag boyfriend for half a week until he remembers to borrow a drill from work
3. Drill tiny holes in said “Lillholmen”.
4. Apply jewelry.
