It looks like the weekend is finally here! The weeks just seem to fly by these days – I guess this means that I really enjoy my new job. The bad part of this is of course that before you know it it’s October and you really have no idea where September went, and you start to realize that wow, it really is winter, we all saw the snow, it’s freezing, literally! I took this photo for you yesterday morning at 7am, to keep as proof:
Frost. That’s one of the few things I really love about this season – it glitters :)
The downside is that mornings feel like the middle of the night, and that the apartment is freezing when you get out of bed. We’ve had the heating switched off since April I think, there was no need for it. I guess it’s time to switch it back on now, huh! Work was so-so – I think I might have caught some sort of bug, and for some reason the side of my ribs hurt like I had been punched there, only I hadn’t been punched at all. This, in turn, made me decide to stay home in the evening instead of going to a friends’ book launch. I had been really looking forward to go there, but it turned into an evening spent with Marius, a blanket and Ben & Jerry’s instead.
Oh and I also borrowed a phone from work – A HTC touch pro!
I hated it from the minute I switched it on, and it was back in it’s box within 15 minutes. It was slow and fidgety and awful.New gadgets are supposed to make you happy, not frustrated! So long, Mr. Touch. We won’t be seeing each other again anytime soon.
I’ll stay faithful to my Samsung innov8. I’m such a Samsung fangirl.
