Marius and I went to Oslo this weekend! Or, in all honesty, I didn’t forget to tell you. My inner dad told me it wouldn’t be a great idea to tell the entire Internet that the apartment would be empty for three days, so I didn’t. We left Saturday around 2pm :)
This is me at the airport. I wasn’t really pissed off, just a bit sleepy. I hate to rush in the mornings, you see, so I got up at 8am to catch a 2pm plane. On a Saturday. Nope, not completely sane, thanks for asking!
Here’s us on the plane. Marius has not yet mastered the art of finding the right exposure, so we’re a bit white.
Me in Oslo. The thing in front of me is called an espresschoc, and is the greatest invention since sliced bread. We went and sat at this exact spot many times through our trip – it had espresschoc, outdoor heating, and blankets. AND Christmas music. Oslo was freezing cold, so these things made window shopping a lot more pleasant!

Actually, the entire point of our trip was to see The Mars Volta, one of our all-time favorite bands, live at Sentrum Scene. We were too chicken to bring cameras, but trust me, the concert was really great. I’ve seen them live once before, and they were good then, but they were even better this time around. So good, in fact..
… That I vowed to name my future poodle “Cedric” after frontman Cedric Bixler-Zavala.
Moving on! This is me looking at socks. I love socks, can you tell? This pair had pom-poms.
